History

Although the official home of the trend setting 27 Boxes, a shopping centre made entirely of recycled shipping containers. You’re still bound stumble across a bygone era relic like the Scala Barber Shop, where you will find Fred who is all too willing to fill you in on some 50 plus years of Melville history, from how Melville used to be a little village where you could pick up your fruit and veg or do your laundry. Then as the urban legend goes the first restaurant, Escargot opened its doors much to the shock of the residents, no one thought it would work but as the saying goes, the rest is history.
